Travelog presentation of slides and short video clips from a pilgrimage tour of the locations relevant to Paramahansa Yogananda and the Kriya Yoga guru lineage in October of 2015 with Ron and Hélène Lindahn. During this trip research was done and the primary footage for the Yogananda documentary was shot.
This is the original site of Paramahansa Yogananda's main school. Now serving as the headquarters for Yogoda Satsanga, Yoganandaji's organization in India. A boys and a girls schools are now supported here in Ranchi at remote locations each with approximately 1000 students in attendance.
A walk through the flower market in Kolkata near the Howrah Bridge. Taken during a pilgrimage while visiting sites related to Paramahansa Yogananda and the gurus in the kriya yoga tradition. It is interesting to note that the millions of flowers passing through this market every day are used as devotional offerings in temples and home shrines.

It is one continuous 22 minute shot moving through several neighborhoods and past very typical sights and sounds of a city in India.
The final two and a half minutes are a short walk through the market that was our destination.
Chai (tea) is the traditional and most common drink in India, served in small cups, and available on nearly every street corner and next to every center of interest in the country. This short video shows the authentic process of chai making at a tea stall, Dunagiri Temple, Himalayas, recorded during our pilgrimage trip for the shooting of Yogananda's India documentary in October 2015.
